Reality TV
Are there any other junkies out there? Maybe I should be *embarrassed* to admit that I watch these shows, but it's ok if it's in the name of m-o-t-i-v-a-t-i-o-n, right? I only justify watching all of these because I work out during each episode (or I watch a second one while I cool down and fold laundry)!! I just don't know how I'm going to catch all of them anymore: Biggest Loser, American Idol, Mamma's Boys, Survivor, Bachelor, you gotta love Extreme Makeover--Home Edition, Apprentice (what happened to that anyway?) and now there's the new one, True Beauty, that looks like it's going to be hilarious! Sheesh! Now, c'mon guys, fess up--do you watch any of these? (are there any good one's I've missed?--not that I have room for any more!) How do you all choose and/or justify spending time watching these??? Or do you NOT? (be honest) :)

Liesl, I'm with you girl! I watch just about everything too! However, I don't do it during the day, it's not very enjoyable with 3 little tikes hollering for your attention. We recently got recordable TV so I record all my shows and watch them at nights! I too watch them while I work out in the mornings! Here's my list of must have TV: Biggest Loser, Survivor, Bachelor (I'm so excited for this season), Desperate Housewives (kind of embarrassed to admit it, but I love it), Extreme Makeover-Home Edition, Jon & Kate plus 8 (on TLC), The Cosby Show, Leverage (on TBS I think), House (on Fox), and some others! I know I've got quite the list! I just think of it as my time to relax and indulge in another story line than my everyday life!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Krista, it's fun to relax and live through other people's lives for a while. I also heart Biggest Loser, Bachelor, Apprentice, Desperate Housewives, Top Model, Top Chef, Project Runway, Lost, and 24!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you as 'Bachelor' came on last night and Dan was yelling from the other room "change it NOW!" I love reality t.v. but I have to watch it alone and away from Dan. I love 24 and was really into Grey's Anatomy for a couple of years, but don't watch it much anymore. So, was 'Bachelor' good? He has a little boy! That's sure to be interesting...wonder how all the ho-ho and ding-dong girls will handle that?! :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter Jamie and I watch biggest loser and Extreme makeover home addition. I could easily get hooked on others but most of the time my tv is on full house, sponge bob, or hanah montana. what did we do before reality tv? I'm still waiting by the way for you to tell me how you did your header. Is it a scrapbook website?
ReplyDeleteI don't watch any of those, but I do have guilty pleasures of my own . . . American's Next Top Model, Dancing with the Stars, and So You Think You Can Dance. I love Lost, too, but that's not a reality show.
